1c unsalted butter...soft
3/4c white sugar
1 lg egg
1tsp vanilla
2 1/2c sifted flour
2T chopped fresh rosemary
3/4tsp salt

1/2c sanding sugar for rolling in.

Bake 350 - 375 till edges are light brown...centers will not need to brown. Press tops into sugar when
they are set but still warm.......they can also be dipped before you bake them. Works both ways.

I served these at Carrie Anne's wedding and they were a hit. Found in a Martha Stewart magazine..

Trish made them for a charcuterie board (w/o the sugared tops) to serve with cheeses, fruit and deli meats. PERFECTION!
