Pumpkin Puree:
Wash and cut pumpkin in half. Clean out seeds and cut into cubes.
Boil pumpkin cubes. Mash pumpkin. Drain overnight to remove all excess water.

Pumpkin Pie Filling:
28 oz of pumpkin puree (3 ˝ cups)
1 cup milk
1 cup cream (whole carnation)
4 eggs
2 cups brown sugar
1 tsp salt
2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450⁰.
In a large bowl mix together brown sugar, salt, pumpkin pie spice, and cinnamon.
Add milk, cream (carnation), pumpkin puree, and eggs. Beat together, until well combined.
Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell.
Cook at 450⁰ for 20 minutes. Reduce heat to 350⁰ and bake for an additional 25 – 30 minutes.
Knife should come out clean when fully cooked.
