2 T vinegar
1 T brown sugar
1 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp meat tenderizer
1/2 tsp monosodium glutamate
1/4 tsp dry mustard
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp allspice
1/4 tsp garlic

Combine all ingredients, then rub past into a roast of beef. This is enough for a 5 lb roast. Bake at 200F for 1 hour. Slow cooking will make for a more tender roast

We used to have this roast a couple of times a month. The marinade would be good on steak as well. We sometimes place a couple of bacon slices on top of roast, I guess to keep the roast from drying out. Old school, but very tasty.
