2 cups flour
1 cup sugar
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
3/4 cup cold butter or margarine
1 1/2 cups shredded or flaked coconut
1 cup chopped nuts ( walnuts, pecans or almonds)
1 can SOLO or BAKER prune or date filling

Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Grease 13x9 baking pan. Combine flour, sugar, salt and baking soda in medium bowl and stir until blended. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add coconut and chopped nuts; stir until well mixed. Reserve 2 cups of the flour-coconut mixture. Press remaining mixture into bottom of pan.
Bake 10 min. Remove form oven and spread filling over baked crust. Bake 15 more min. or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars.
