1 pkg. dry yeast
¾ c. scalded milk
¼ c. sugar
3 c. sifted flour
¼ c. warm water
¼ c. shortening
1 tsp. salt
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Mix yeast and water; set aside. Mix milk, shortening, and sugar; cool to lukewarm. Add 1 cup flour to the milk mixture. Add remaining flour. Place in a greased bowl; turn once to crease the other side. Cover. Store 2 hours or till needed. You can use without refrigerating. Punch dough down and shape rolls. Bake rolls 12-15 minutes at 400 degrees.
