1 (15 oz.) pkg. M & M's plain or peanut chocolate candy
1 c. margarine
3/4 c. granulated sugar
3/4 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts

Directions:
Coarsely chop 1 1/2 cups candies; reserve remaining for decoration. Beat together margarine and sugars until light and fluffy; blend in egg and vanilla. Add combined flour, soda and salt; mix well. Stir in chopped candies and nut. Drop by rounded Tablespoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 9 to 11 minutes. Remove from oven; immediately press 3 reserved candies into each cookie. Cool on wire rack. Makes about 5 dozen cookies.
