1 cup sugar; 1/2 cup butter; 2/3 cup sour milk; 3 cup flour; 1 tsp baking powder;

1 tsp soda; 1 tsp vanilla; 1 tsp salt (I found salt can be left out.)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter together until fine. Add sour milk, baking powder, soda, vanilla.

Add 1 cup of flour; blend well. Continue to add small amounts of flour. Once it isn't sticky wet, put out on floured table top. Continue to add flour until it is soft and firm.

Roll out with about 1/2 inch or thicker for cookies. This can be used for cutting cookies with cookie cutters for decoration later.

Bake at 400º until golden brown

This is like a sugar cookie without eggs. It is great for making holiday designs. Use regular icing to decorate with. This came from Granny Good.
