1/4 cup self rising flour
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 stick butter
3 eggs
1 T vanilla
2 T lemon juice
11/2 cup dark raisins_ boiled 5 minutes and drained,

Directions:

Cream all ingredients. Add 3 eggs, 1 T. vanilla,2T. lemon juice, 11/2 cup raisins.
Bake @ 350 untilgolden brown 30-45 minutes.

Family Memories from John Vaught: Someone was shooting our cows and all of a sudden Dad saw these three hunters come up the field. He took off, vaulted the fence, jerked the gun and wrapped it around the fence post. The hunter said "Hey! That's a Browning!" and Dad said "Hey! That's a busted! You have shot my cows for the last time!"
