Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
Family Memories from Sylvia: Lotties telephone ring was three shorts. Growing up, ours was one short and two longs. There were six people on our telephone line, each with a different combination of shorts and longs. Instead of a telephone number, you each had a ring. The switchboard would hook you up. You could not only hear your own phone ring but also any time any one was called on your party line, it would ring in your house. Lottie would always pick it up, listen and join in the conversation even if it wasn't her ring. It was expected because everyone knew each other!
