2 pkg. Okra
Large onion chopped
5 slices bacon sliced into small pieces
2 cans diced tomatoes
3 T. br. sugar
1/2 c. oil
Garlic, salt ,pepper, and chili powder to taste

Oil and bacon in lg. pot. Brown well.
Add onion sauté stir.
Add garlic salt and pepper to taste stir.
Add okra stir
Add tomato stir
Add chili powder
Add water to keep from sticking
STIR STIR STIR and simmer
