4 cups flour
1/2 lb. butter
2 egg yokes
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Nut Mix
1 lb. ground walnuts
2 egg whites
1 cup sugar
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Directions:
Directions:
In a large bowl, combine flour and salt. Set aside
Beat sour cream, butter, eggs and vanilla until smooth
Gradually add flour-salt mixture until combined
Place dough in fridge and chill for 2 hours

While dough is chilling make nut mix.
Place walnuts in a chopper or a blender ( chop or blend to a ground consistency)
Mix ground nuts with egg whites, sugar and lemon juice


Remove dough and roll into walnut sized balls
Roll out each ball and fill with 1 tsp. nut filling
Shape into a crescent
Bake at 350º until a light golden brown
Sprinkle when cooled with powder sugar
