"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Remove eggs and butter from refer and bring to room temperature while lining a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

In medium bowl, mix flour, baking soda and salt together. Set aside.

In electric mixer using the paddle attachment, beat the butter, sugar and brown sugar for 2 minutes until fluffy. Beat in the eggs 1 at a time until well incorporated. Scrape down the sides with scraper and add vanilla. Beat 1 minute, then scrape the sides again. Add the flour mixture and mix until blended.
Add chocolate morsels, nuts and raisins until well mixed.

Scoop out cookie dough I large golf ball size pieces and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper. Don’t worry if they are to close together, we will freeze them before we bake them.

Chill for 1 hour in the frig. Place chilled cookie dough at least 3 inches apart. Bake 30 to 45 minutes or until golden and crunchy on top .

Personal Notes:
These cookies are wonderful. After the balls are frozen I put them in a plastic bag and bake off whenever I want fresh cookies.
