1 jar of marshmallow cream (5 to 10 oz)
1 1/2 sugar
2/3 c evaporated milk
1/4 c butter
1/4 t salt

12 oz package (2 c) of semi-sweet chocolate morsels
1 t vanilla

1/2 c chopped pecans.

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine the first 5 ingredients. Bring to a full boil,, stirring constantly over moderate heat. Boil 5 minutes stirring constantly. Remove from heat.

Add chocolate morsels. Stir until the mixture is smooth.

Add vanilla
Add pecans.

Pour into a buttered 8 inch square plan. Chill until firm and cut in small square.

This fudge recipe became very famous when marshmallow cream came onto the market. The marshmallow cream makes a very smooth fudge. The old fudge recipes often yielded grainy fudge.
