Crust -
4 c. flour
2 Tbs. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. shortening
1 egg
1 Tbs. vinegar
½ c. cold water

Pie filling -
¾ c. sugar
1½ tsp. cinnamon
¼ tsp. nutmeg
1 Tbs. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together/cut - shortening, flour, sugar and salt
Mix together 1 egg, vinegar, cold water. Add to pie crust mixture
Roll out bottom crust and place in pie pan.
Fill heaping with peeled, sliced apples (Haralson)
Mix together sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg and flour.
Spoon over apples and dot with butter (about 1 1/2 tsp per pie).
Roll out top crust and place over pie. Flute edges.
Make few slits and for holds to vent and sprinkle with little cinnamon sugar.

Bake 350º for 1 hour.
