2 c. sugar
3 rounded tbsp. flour
1 c. Bordens buttermilk
Dash of grated nutmeg
1/2 c. Bordens butter
3 beaten eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add flour and eggs. Beat well. Add buttermilk and flavorings. Pour into a 9 inch uncooked pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 to 50 minutes or until it tastes done.

Virginia’s comment: This is a Southern delicacy. Mom has been making this as long as I can imagine. People make sure they get a piece sometimes hiding a piece somewhere in the house.
