Ingredients: 1 cup butter (or half margarine and half butter) 1 cup brown sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 2 cups flour 1 cup chocolate chips

Directions:1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F 2. Beat butter in a mixmaster until soft 3. Add brown sugar, beat 4. Add vanilla, beat 5. Add flour 1 cup at a time and beat 6. Lightly beat in chocolate chips 7. Pat evenly and firmly onto a cookie sheet (about 10”x11) (We just made it shorter than the pan. For thicker cookies use a 9x13” pan) 8. Bake for 16-20 minutes or until the edges look golden brown 9. Let cool about 3 minutes then cut into desired sized cookies 10. Let cool before removing from pan 11. These freeze well and taste great with ice cream for dessert! |

Plus....THEY’RE YUMMMY! Who doesn’t like chocolate chips!? P.S. Make sure you have extremely clean hands before attempting this recipe
