2 cups flour
1 cup raisins
½ cup nuts
½ t salt
1 t soda
1 t cinnamon
½ t cloves
½ t nutmeg
½ cup thick applesauce
1 egg
½ c sugar
½ c brown sugar
½ c butter
Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter, add sugars gradually until light. Beat in egg. Combine flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, cloves and nutmeg. Stir the flour mixture gradually into the batter. Add applesauce. Stir in the nuts and raisins. Drop by teaspoons on greased cookie sheet. Bake in 350º oven for 14 minutes.
