2 cups all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup salted butter, softened
1 large egg
2 tsp. pure vanilla extract
1 cup Rice Krispie cereal
1 1/2 cups (8 oz.) Nestle Crunch Bar, coarsely chopped

Preheat oven to 300º F.

In a medium bowl combine flour, salt and soda. Mix well with a wire whisk and set aside.

In a large bowl blend sugars with an electric mixer at medium speed. Add butter and mix to form a grainy paste. Scrape down sides of bowl, then add egg and vanilla. Beat at medium speed until light and fluffy.

Add flour mixture, rice cereal and chocolate chunks. Blend at low speed just until combined. Do not over mix.

Drop by rounded tablespoons (I use a cookie scoop) onto ungreased cookie sheets, 2 inches apart. Bake for 22-24 minutes. Immediately transfer cookies with a spatula onto cooling racks.
