1 cup margarine
3/4 cup white sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs, unbeaten
2 cups rolled oats
3/4 cup coconut
1/2 pkg gum drops, cut fine
1/2 cup chopped nuts
3/4 tsp grated lemon rind
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Combine margarine, sugars, eggs, lemon rind and vanilla. Beat thoroughly. Sift flour with salt, baking powder and soda. Add to margarine mixture and mix well. Add rolled oats, coconut, gum drops and nuts. Mix thoroughly. Drop by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet and bake 350 for approximately 15 minutes.
