2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Butter
1 Tbsp Baking Soda
1 1/2 Cups Oatmeal
1 Cup White Sugar
1 Cup Chopped Dates
Cook chopped dates with 1 Cup water and 1/4 cup sugar, until boiling.
Directions:
Directions:
Mix together the first 5 ingredients to make a sticky crumb mixture.Then place a little over 1/2 of the crumb mixture into a 9x13 pan, pat down mixture to make a base layer. Spread cooked chopped dates over base layer, cover then with remaining crumb mixture.
Bake at 350 ºF for 30 min. or until lightly brown.
