˝ cup butter
˝ cup powdered sugar
1 cup flour,
˝ cup chopped pecans (or almonds)
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Combine softened ˝ cup butter with
˝ cup powdered sugar,
1 cup flour,
˝ cup chopped pecans, and
1 tsp. vanilla.

Put in refrigerator for at least ˝ hour.

Make small cookies, either in a ball or a crescent shape, and place on cookie sheet.

Bake 30 minutes (when the bottom of the cookies are a little brown). When still warm, roll in powdered sugar.

This is not a cake but little cookies. They are another staple of Grandma’s. She always kept a tin-full in the freezer for unannounced guests, along with coconut pecan squares. These are amazingly quick and easy!
