16 oz. egg noodles
4 tbsp. melted butter
16 oz. small curd cottage cheese
16 oz sour cream
1 cup raisins (optional)
4 eggs, beaten
1/2 cup white sugar
2 tbsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. salt

For a creamier base add:
2 cups whole milk (optional)
4 oz. cream cheese (optional)

Topping:
1 cup crushed corn flake cereal
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 cup white sugar

Directions:
Directions:
1) Preheat oven to 350℉
2) Grease a 9”x13” baking dish
3) Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook egg noodles in boiling water, stirring occasionally until cooked al dente (cooked through but firm to the bite). Drain.
4) In a large bowl, mix all ingredients from base - [Beaten eggs, cottage cheese, milk (optional), sour cream, 1 cup white sugar, butter, cream cheese (optional), vanilla extract, and salt]
5) Stir egg noodles into above cottage cheese mixture and pour into baking dish
6) In a small bowl, mix all ingredients from topping - [1/2 cup white sugar, corn flake cereal and cinnamon] Sprinkle mixture atop noodle kugel
7) Bake until sauce bubbles and noodles are golden (about 1 hour). Allow pan to cool for 10 minutes before serving. Can be served hot or cold
