3 Large shrimp per person - peeled and deveined but with tails on

Cornstarch & a small amount of red pepper - mixed together. The amount of red pepper used will vary by the number of shrimp served and how well the heat is tolerated.

Avocado Oil (or other oil that has a high smoke point) - use enough oil to fill a frying pan half way full.

Candied walnuts - add a small amount of sugar to walnuts and toast in a skillet on medium heat for about 5 minutes

Maple syrup

Paprika

Diagonally sliced green onions

A few small lettuce leaves for the plate

Directions:
Directions:
Mix a small amount of dry corn starch with red pepper to taste. Dust Shrimp in dry mixture.

Fry shrimp in a small amount of oil until brown

Poor a small amount of maple syrup under where each shrimp will be placed on the plate.

Dust rectangular appetizer plate with red paprika. Place 3 shrimp on each plate on top of the maple syrup, equal distances apart. Place a few walnuts on each place.

Decorate with diagonally sliced green onions and a few small lettuce leaves - such as baby romaine.
