1 cup butter
½ cup brown sugar, packed
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 tsp. vanilla
2 cups flour
10 oz. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 cup walnuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cream butter, both sugars, egg yolk and vanilla.

Stir in flour; mix well.

Spread mixture on creased cookie sheet, forming a thin layer of cookie.

Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 mins. Meanwhile, melt chocolate chips in a microwave. When baking is complete, remove cookie sheet from oven and gently spread melted chocolate over sheet of warm cookies. Sprinkle walnuts all over top.

Cut into bars while still warm. Serve when chocolate is hard.
