1 lb butter softened ( leave it out of the fridge for a few hours)
¾ c icing sugar
4 c flour
Directions:
Directions:
Mix butter and sugar together until creamy. Add flour 1 cup at a time until blended. Chill dough for about an hour. Roll into balls, flatten with a fork.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 325 degrees for about 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
