1¾ cups sugar
1 cup shortening
2 eggs
3 cups all-purpose flour
½ tsp soda
½ tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the sugar and shortening. Add eggs, one at a time. Beat well. Add egg mixture and sugar mixture together and blend well. Add flour, soda, salt and vanilla. Knead dough, roll out, cut out with biscuit cutter. Bake at 325º about 8 minutes.
