Ingredients:
Beat 4 eggs, then add:
2 cups sugar
1 pound of real butter
2 teaspoons real vanilla (not imitation)
1/2 cup warm milk

Directions:
Directions:
Add enough flour to make the mixture about the size of a chicken. The ball should not be sticky on your fingers. Knead it for a while, adding flour if necessary until it is no longer sticky. Pick out pieces the size of a walnut and press them flat on the cookie sheet. Mom places them in a fancy design, two-piece cookie press and cooks them above the burner. We don't know the time or temperature to bake them on a cookie sheet. I would assume it’s 350 degrees and probably 15 minutes.

Personal Notes:
Margaret Binggeli Tindall is Greta's mother. Margaret made dozens and dozens of these cookies every year at Christmas.
