1 cup shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups flour (for richer cookies use 2 cups of flour)
2 tsp soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugars, shortening, eggs and vanilla
Stir in peanut butter
Sift dry ingredients and stir into creamed mixture
Drop by teaspoon on ungreased cookie sheet
Press slightly with a fork to make crisscross
Cook about 6 minutes @ 350
