2 cups sugar
1 cup salad oil
2 cups applesauce
3 1/4 cups flour
2 teaspoons soda, dissolved in 1/2 cup hot water
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons cloves
2 teaspoons nutmeg
1 cup raisins
1/2 cup nuts


Directions:

Mix first 8 ingredients. Stir in raisins and nuts.
Pour batter into a 13 x 9 pan and bake at 325 degrees for 60 – 70 minutes
