1 cup packed brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
½ cup margarine or butter, softened
½ teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups Gold Medal all-purpose flour
2 cups Raisin Nut Bran cereal
1½ cups flaked or shredded coconut
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt

Heat oven to 375º. Mix sugars, margarine, vanilla and eggs in large bowl. Stir in remaining ingredients. Shape dough by teaspoonfuls into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheet.

High Altitude Directions (3500 to 6500 feet): Decrease brown sugar to ½ cup and baking soda to ¼ teaspoon. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
