2 cups water
Cook raisins until 1 cup of water is left.

Cream
1 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 cup shortening

Sift the Following
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp allspice
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
2 cups flour

Grease and flour cookie sheet. Mix together. Drop on cookie sheet from spoon. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.
