2 c. Self-rising flour
2 generous tbs. vegetable oil
Buttermilk

Preheat oven to 350º.

Mix flour and oil in a bowl. Add buttermilk a little at a time and mix with hands until mixture is just sticky. Put some flour on a plate and transfer mixture to it. Pat mixture down with floured hands and flip over so that both sides are floured. With floured hands pat mixture until the entire plate is almost filled with the mixture. Take a round drinking glass, flour the bottom and use it to cut out your biscuits.

Place biscuits on a greased baking sheet or in a round cake pan and bake until lightly brown on top.
