5 tsp Baking Soda
2 Cups Boiling Water
˝ Cup Shortening
2 Cups Sugar
4 Eggs
5 Cups Flour
1 Tbsp Salt
4 Cups of Kellog’s All Bran
2 Cups Bran Flakes
1 Quart Buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
1. Mix baking soda with boiling water.
2. Beat together shortening, sugar, and eggs
3. Add sifted flour, and salt.
4. Add All Bran, Bran Flakes, Buttermilk and lastly, put in the baking soda and water.
5. Bake for 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees.
