On cold snow days tradition was for Granny to make Snow Cream for the kids.

The tradition is vanilla flavor but you can flavor to taste with your favorite flavorings or toppings

Use clean fresh fallen snow from the middle of the pile on the deck or railings (never from the ground or on or under trees or bushes.

I’m guessing - I made it once when you all were little.
Large bowl of snow
I can evaporated milk
1/2 cup or more of sugar
1 tablespoon vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Freeze bowl and fill with fresh clean snow. (*Light fluffy snow works best.)

Fold in sugar, gradually fold in evaporated milk, fold in vanilla.

Mix well and taste as you go - this is the best part. Add more sugar and vanilla as needed.
