2 cups self-rising white corn meal
1 onion, diced
1 bell pepper, diced
1 can cream style corn
1-2 tbsp diced jalapeno peppers
1/4 cup cooking oil
1 cup buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together all ingredients. Spray cast iron skillet with oil and dust with one tbsp of cornmeal. Add a drizzle of oil and heat skillet on stovetop. Pour cornbread mixture into skillet and bake at 375 degrees for 30 to 40 minutes or until browned.
