2 cups sugar
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup water
2 cup raw Spanish peanuts
1/4 tsp salt
1 Tbsp butter
1/5 tsp soda

Directions:
Directions:
1. Combine sugar, corn syrup, and water in heavy skillet. Cook slowly, stirring till sugar dissolves. Cook to soft ball stage (test in cold water).

2. Add peanuts and salt. Cook to hard-crack stage, stirring constantly. Add butter and soda, stir to blend.

3. Pour onto buttered large plate or platter. Cool partially by lifting around edges with spatula so it won't stick

4. Break in pieces when cold.
