1 Pound Butter, unsalted
2 Cups Sugar
6 Eggs
½ Cup Oil
½ Cup Orange Juice
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
10 Cups Flour
1/3 Cup Baking Powder
1 Pound of Sesame Seed

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in microwave until soft – cool. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Add orange juice and vanilla along with cooled melted butter and oil. Slowly add the flour and baking powder until the right consistency is reached (when dough comes away from the sides of the bowl). Dough should be soft but firm.

Pinch off a little dough (about 1 ounce) and roll into strips (8-9 inches long). Braid and place on cookie sheet lined with parchment paper.

Brush each cookie with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seed.

Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes, until golden brown.

Makes about 100 cookies.
