1 lg head cabbage, shredded
1 onion, chopped
6 T butter
1 can cream of mushroom soup
8 oz Velvetta cheese, cubed
salt and pepper to taste
1/4 dry bread crumbs

Directions:
Directions:
Cook cabbage in boiling salt waer untiltender, drain. In a large skillet, saute onion in 5 T butter until tender.
Add soup and mix well. Add cheese, heat and stir until melted. Remove from heat, stir in cabbage and salt and pepper. Put in ungreased 2 qt baking dish. In a small skillet melt 1 T butter. Add bread crumbs and cook until lightly brown. Sprinkle crumbs over casserole. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-30 minutes.
