1 cup sugar
3 tablespoons cocoa powder
3 heaping tablespoons flour or corn starch
(4 1/2 tablespoons for pies)
1 teaspoon salt
4 cup milk

After thickened add:
1teaspoon vanilla
2 tablespoons butter

Directions:

Stir over medium heat until thick.
After the thickened, remove from heat and add butter and vanilla.
Pour into small serving dishes and cool.
