1 lb. salted butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. almond extract
red/green food coloring
red/green sanding sugar
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375° F. Cream butter and sugar. Add egg and almond extract. Add flour and baking powder. Divide dough and color as desired with food coloring. Transfer dough to cookie press. Press out shapes (stars, wreaths, trees, etc) onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle with sanding sugars as desired. Bake 12 minutes, then cool on a wire rack.
