¾ cup shortening
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup granulated sugar
1 egg
¼ cup water
1 teaspoon vanilla
3 cups uncooked oats
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup raisins

* Preheat oven to 325º
* Mix shortening, brown sugar, sugar, egg, water and vanilla well; mix in remaining ingredients
* Drop rounded balls on cookie sheet; bake ~15 minutes
