2 packages yeast
½ cup warm water
¼ cup Oleo or butter
1 ¾ cup milk
1 beaten egg
⅓ to ½ cup sugar
3 cups flour
4 cups flour
1 tsp. salt
⅓ to ½ cup sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water and let stand. Melt 1/4 cup oleo in 1 3/4 cup milk. Mix with above when cool.
Add I beaten egg and 1/3 to 1/2 cup sugar. Add 3 cups sifted (or spooned) flour, 1 tsp. salt and 1/3 to 1/2 cups sugar. Knead in bowl until spongy. (10 minutes) Grease bowl and hands occasionally.
Cover and let rise. When doubled, punch down and let rise again.
Shape into rolls. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
