3 lbs ground beef

1 large onion, chopped

3 - 4 stalks celery, chopped

1 cup cooked rice

salt and pepper to taste

2 cans tomato paste (+ 2 cans water)

3 cans tomato soup

2 large heads of cabbage

Directions:
Directions:
Saute onion and celery in oil.

Add onion, celery, rice, salt, and pepper to ground beef.


In a large sauce pan, combine the tomato paste, tomato soup, and water. Mix well.

Mix a small amount of sauce into the meat mixture.


Remove the core from the cabbage heads and place 1 head at a time into very hot water (not boiling) until leaves pull away and are workable.

Stuff the individual cabbage leaves, fold, and place fold side down into casserole dish.

Cover the cabbage rolls with the sauce and cover with tin foil.

Bake for 3 hrs, or until tender, at 400º
