4 cup Brown sugar

2 cups shortening

5 or 6 eggs

1 tsp vanilla

1 tsp maple flavoring or mapleine

7 cups flour

4 tsp baking powder

2 tsp baking soda

1 cup evaporated milk

Cream the brown sugar, shortening, eggs, vanilla and mapleine or maple flavoring. Add remaining ingredients. Drop by spoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Frost!! Makes over 100 cookies! Then frost!

Quick Brown Icing

2 Tbl Butter

4 TBL Milk

5 Tbl Brown Sugar

3/4 box powdered sugar (XXX sugar)

Put butter, milk, and brown sugar in a saucepan, heat until sugar dissolves. Add powdered sugar until spreading consistency!
