1/2 c. Butter
3 Eggs
3/4 c. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
3/4 c. Brown Sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips

Directions:
Directions:
Stir together flour, soda and salt, set aside. To make the crust, cream butter and brown sugar until fluffy. Separate Egg Whites from Egg Yolks, set Egg Whites aside. Add Egg Yolks and Vanilla to beaten mixture.

Gradually add the dry ingredients to the beaten mixture. Spread into an ungreased 13" x 9" baking pan. Bake at 350 degree for 10 minutes.

For Meringue - Beat Egg Whites until they form peaks, gradually add white sugar, set aside.

Sprinkle Chocolate Chips over hot crust and top with Meringue. Bake at 250 degree until lightly brown.

Dry cookie that gets better with age. I bake them and leave them in the pan tightly sealed, stored in a cool place. Cut and serve as needed.
