1/2 cup oil
1 cup Coke (10 oz total, including icing)
1 stick butter
3 tbsp cocoa
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
2 cups flour
2 cups sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 eggs
1 tsp baking soda

Icing:

1 stick butter
3 tbsp Coke
2 tbsp cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
powdered sugar

Cake:

Do not use electric mixer. Mix oil, coke, butter and cocoa and bring to a boil. Sift flour, sugar and salt together. Pour coke mixture over dry ingredients and beat well while still hot. Add eggs and beat again. Add buttermilk that has baking soda dissolved in it. Add vanilla and mix well. Grease and flour a 9x13 pan and bake at 325º for 45- 50 minutes.

Icing:

Heat all and beat in enough powdered sugar to make thick enough to spread. Spread on cooled cake.
