2 sticks Butter
1 lb brown sugar
1 cup White Karo Syrup
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Milk
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in saucepan. Add brown sugar and bring to a rolling boil, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon. Add Karo and milk; cook to 230 degrees over low heat. Add vanilla and cook to 240 degrees. Pour into flat pan (do not scrape pan). Cut into squares when cool. Makes about 2 1/2 pounds caramels to wrap.
