1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup butter
3/4 cup sugar
2 Tablespoons orange juice
grated rind of 1 orange
2 1/2 cups flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
Directions:
Directions:
Mix shortening, butter, sugar, orange juice and orange rind thoroughly. Add dry ingredients. Store in refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight. Roll out, cut and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 350º for about 15 minutes.
