1 1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Flour (plain)
5 Eggs (Beaten)
1 Can Evaporated Milk
1/2 Gallon Milk
3 tbsp. Vanilla +/- to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Mix
1 1/2 Cup Sugar
1/2 Cup Flour (plain)

Add beaten eggs to sugar and flour
Then add 1 can evaporated milk and mix all together

Then add 1/2 gallon milk.

Heat in a thick pan on low heat.
Stir constantly till liquid sticks to spoon

Strain to get all lumps out

Let cool and add vanilla to taste +/- 3 tbsp.

This was a Holiday favorite.

NOTE: You drink this custard. it is not like a pudding. (for those that have not been to the south)
