4 cups milk
2/3 cups sugar
2 tsp salt
4 extra large eggs
2 pkg active dry yeast
6 1/2-7 cups flour
1 1/2 to 2 cups raisins
Oil for frying

Directions:
Directions:
Put flour in a large 8 or 10 quart pan.
Fill another pan with warm milk. Add sugar, salt, beaten eggs, raisins, and yeast softened in 1/4 cup warm water.
Pour all ingredients in flour, stir until smooth. Let rise in warm place for 2 hours, stir and let rise again.
Batter must not be too thin, or too thick.
Drop by tablespoons in hot oil for frying. Oil temperature should be 375 degrees.
When done, take out and shake them in a paper bag with sugar.

This is a Dutch Family Favorite.
Always use around 6 1/2-7 Cups of flour. Make sure its not too runny or too thick.
